Kate Everson and Tessa Shaffer sign with TZLA
We are delighted to inform you all that TZLA is now representing Kate Everson and Tessa Shaffer.
Kate Everson is a Chicago writer with a past in journalism, present in corporate communications and future in fiction and creative nonfiction. She always seeks to tell stories with unexpected perspectives and diverse voices, having officially matured out of her teenage goal of being described as “Chuck Palahniuk meets Carrie Bradshaw” (though dry wit and acidic social commentary dressed up in a fabulous pair of stilettos are never off the table). Everson has appeared in Z Publishing’s 2018 edition of Emerging Illinois Writers and continues to work on multiple projects ranging from books and short stories to screenplays and graphic novel scripts. Follow her work at kelizaeverson.com, keep tabs on her concert-going addiction on Instagram @kelizaeverson, and commiserate with her on diversity issues through Twitter at @eversonkate.
Tessa Shaffer is a 2016 Writer’s Digest Competition Award Winner, an Indie Excellence Book Awards Finalist, a co-author of the best-selling Goodness Abounds book from the 365 series, and of the Amazon best-seller Thresholds, inspirational short stories from 75 select authors from around the world. Her work has appeared in GirlsLIFE Magazine, Authors Publish Magazine, Renalife Magazine, and Indie Chicks Magazine. She’s a member of RWA, IWWG, and has attended several writing conferences across the United States, including the Alaskan Hay House Writers Workshop, the Texas Novel Writing Intensive, and the New York Writers Digest Conference.
